The second section of the El Dorado Trail opened runs from the Placerville Station bus stop at the intersection of Mosquito Road and Clay Street to the other end of U-shaped Clay Street near its intersection with Main Street. This is a short urban Class 1 bike (paved) bike path with decomposed granite siding for horses.
